Recently, 23 startups and scale-ups gathered in Claerhout Communicatiehuis in Ghent for the 2nd EYnovation Launchpad Meetup for Vlerick iGMO*, in collaboration with KBC and EY. After screening a bunch of candidate startups and scale-ups at the EY wavespace, 23 entrepreneurs got the chance to pitch their solution/offering for a fine selection of Belgian CEO’s and business owners. Connections were made, opportunities have been scouted, and we all had a good time!
Connecting corporate companies with starting businesses: this is one of The Factory’s core missions. A Launchpad Meetup truly is a win-win situation. On the one hand, it is an opportunity for young companies to get exposure to potential clients and investors. On the other hand, the business owners from the corporate companies can prospect which of these promising companies could have the technology, knowledge and team that could match their business’ innovation strategy.

And the winner is…
Color Navigator and Mileviewer were voted as the winners of the EYnovation Vlerick iGMO Launchpad Meetup 2019. Congratulations to them!
Color Navigator makes color choices and combinations on a scientific basis adapted to strategy, brand- & product positioning, buyer persona and geographical area. They have clients such as Colruyt Group, Unilever, Danone, Heineken, etc.
Mileviewer helps transport companies to get a real-time overview and automated communication in the shipping process. They have clients such as Damco, Align Technology, Aircargo.nl, etc.
